The true definition of resilient

If you searched online about the world resilient, you will see that it is defined as bouncing back from tough conditions. A resilient object will get back to its original shape after being destructed. However, for me, from my own experience, I realised that this definition is wrong!
In every hour in this planet, a tear falls off someone’s eye, a heart gets broken and a soul gets shattered. Yes, are lives become complicated sometimes and tough, but we need to get over the obstacles we face in order to be a resilient person. But what does resilient really mean?
To me, being resilient is being able to get up after falling but with a scar that reminds of your mistakes. Nothing can get back to its original shape after getting destructed, even a balloon! I you compressed a balloon, it will get to its original shape. But if you kept compressing, it will explode. Why does this happen? Each time you compress the balloon, the areas were your fingers located, get weaker and weaker. You may not notice the weakness or scratches, but its there.

Avoid your mistakes, learn from them, don’t forget them. Keep in mind that no one will get affected more than you.
